THIS IS HOW WE MARCH is a collaborative music video project dedicated to honoring the legacy of Marsha P. Johnson, intertwining her historical significance with the broader narrative of Pride.

The project features an original composition by Aaron Gabriel, complemented by dynamic vocals from Kasano Mwanza. Initially funded through the MRAC Grant, this initiative combines historical footage of Marsha P. Johnson, sourced from The Love Tapes Collective, to create a celebratory video portrait that captures the spirit of community.

Scheduled for debut in late spring 2025, we invite partners, performers, and colleagues from across the nation to engage. Join us in sharing the word and contributing to this meaningful endeavor.
